Had an exhaust leak. Made an appointment and took in the truck. They had it repaired the same day. Great people and service. Thumbs up.

I got a $700 MAP sensor changed after a check engine light came on. Over the course of a year, the light kept coming on and I kept taking it back and they said it was the same problem, four times. Finally, they said it was a computer problem and to take it to the Volkswagen dealership. Took it to the dealership, they said the MAP sensor WASN’T EVEN PLUGGED IN. The Volkswagen dealership called them liars, because it was not a computer problem. They also left tools inside my engine bay. When asking for my money back, I was told the only way was to take them to court. I’ve met other people who have been charged for a job that wasn’t actually done.

My Mechanic saved our road trip! We were travelling south from Tulelake when we lost oil pressure and had to have AAA tow us back to K-Falls. Long-story-short, My Mechanic was one of the three names that relatives in the area gave us. We called all three places and My Mechanic was able to do at least the diagnostic that day; the other shops weren't even going to look at the car until the end of the week... Waiting was not an option, as we are from the Sacramento area and needed to get home. My Mechanic staff were very understanding and helpful in getting the diagnostic done. Thank God the fix was a relatively simple one and they were able to get the part, get it installed, and even clean up a lot of the oil that had sprayed under the car when the oil sensor failed. A+ customer care!

Overcharged many times, customer service is lacking and the work you pay for doesn't fix the problem you went there for.

This place was a life saver. We were on a family road trip from Seattle to Tahoe. The water pump on our suburban went out in the hotel parking lot in K Falls on Sunday night. I got to the shop at 7:30 and they got me in right away. They replaced the water pump and had me back on the road before lunch. They were fair on the price as well. They saved our road trip and I am grateful.

Our breakdown turned in to a real good thing...We broke down just south of the Oregon border in California and, by chance, some guys were working on the railroad for Union Pacific. One of the guys said go to My Mechanic in K-Falls. So our tow took us there and we got there on a busy Friday and they fit us in. Erik, the manager was exceptionally helpful and his crew had us back on the road within two hours! The price was fair too. But the cool part was when the owner, Dale Eklund, showed us around the waiting room, which is really more of a really cool antique museum. Dale asked us where we were headed and we told him "north, with no particular destination". It was then he told us of a really cool place about an hour out of town where we could camp with our Westy. We camped at this amazingly cool place all by ourselves (and a few billion mosquitos!). We would never had known about it without Dale's hospitality. My Mechanic rocks. Great service, great price, and the greatest people!
