Competely dissapointed. I spent over $1900 here on a new transmission and it immediately started leaking when I got my car back. I took it back in and they said it was a bad seal, they replaced the seal freebie charge and a couple miles later it was leaking again. They said that it had nothing to do with their work. This is not an honest shop and they definitely don't stand behind their work. I would highly recommend you save your money and don't waste your time here. They don't care about their customers, even when you're spending thousands.
This is all unfortunate, however, you requested a used transmission versus a new/rebuilt unit and the cost included the clutch and flywheel replacement as well as rear main seal for a 2000 Suburu Outback with 199,450 miles on it . The following is direct from your repair order on your return visit: "CHECK FOR LEAK- CUSTOMER STATES THAT THE TRANSMISSION IS LEAKING AT THE TAIL SHAFT. VERIFY CONCERN, DID FIND THE END OF THE DRIVE LINE WORN AND IS THE CAUSE OF THE LEAK. IF TAIL SHAFT CONTINUES TO LEAK WILL NEED TO REPLACE THE DRIVE LINE." You were shown the drive line and informed it will need to be replaced to fix the leak. You chose to not replace the drive line. For good-will and at our cost, we replaced the leaking seal in hopes that it would slow down the leak. We care about our customers and take our work very serious.
